A kind-hearted woman made the decision to save this three-month-old kitten and give him a second chance at life. Thank you, lady!
This is the story of Titus, the cat with only one eye!
Originally rescued at the age of 14 ounces, Titus had a bulging eye and weighed only 14 ounces. In addition, he was suffering from a respiratory ailment and was underweight at the time.
He had been set to be put to death. It was a blessing in disguise for Titus when Holly Wise of Union, South Carolina decided to start a fund-raising drive to help him pay his medical bills.
She only knew that his bad eye needed to be surgically removed, and that was all she knew.
Paws Up Rescue and Resources, often known as PURR, was able to place him in a foster home while he recovered from the delicate procedure.
According to what you can see, Titus has made a complete and remarkable recovery!
“He now eats whatever his little heart desires and maintains a healthy weight!…” When you spend time with him in a peaceful environment, he will crawl up on you and rub all over you.”
“When I get up to go to another room, he meows at me and around my feet, as if he doesn’t want me to leave! As Kaitlyn explained, “He has an infectious purr that starts up as soon as he climbs onto our laps.”
“He enjoys playing by himself and with his coincidentally also one-eyed foster sister, Maggie,” says his mother. Maggie is another one-eyed cat who is head over heels in love with Titus! “Titus and Maggie get along so well that they could play together for hours on end and be quite pleased.”
