The healing power of love: a kitten with only one eye has finally found… Read the inspiring story here…

Deformed kittens and animals in general have a terrible life. Many people are unable to see beyond the flaws, hence these  poor animals are seldom adopted. But once in a while, a story comes along that gives such cats a happy ending. A few years ago, a kitten with four ears and one eye was found imprisoned under a house. After being hauled out, it was sent to an Australian animal sanctuary, where surgery was performed to remove the deformed eye.

Vets were skeptical that the kitten, dubbed Frankenstein for obvious reasons, would survive. Even if it did, it was practically unimaginable to adopt. They should not, however, have underestimated the power of love.

The Geelong Animal Welfare Society took Frankie in, and one of the staff members carried him home to give him the care he needed to heal. Arthur, the staff member’s kid, quickly became a close buddy of Frankie’s. Frankie’s shortcomings were ignored by the child, who lavished him with affection. They now spend whole days together, uninterrupted by Frankie’s issues.

He is on the path to recovery, despite the fact that there are still some roadblocks on his way. The good news is that Frankie has found a warm, caring, and supportive home where we are certain that it will make a complete recovery very quickly.
