Cats are smart and sneaky creatures – we already know that. They are not afraid to bend the rules at all and will do anything to get what they want. Minnie the cat is a perfect example of this. She was living life with a caring owner but always wanted more treats. In order to get them, the smart cat posed as a stray (no, we’re not kidding!).
Minnie spends her days chillaxing in front of a store in her hometown of Netherfield. Andrea Blower, Minnie’s owner, said that the 4-year old has been visiting the Co-op since she was a baby. She tricks the staff into feeling sorry for her and gets treats all day long. Minnie is sweet with everyone until you lock her in at home – that’s when she turns into a beast.
Andrea didn’t exactly make it easy for Minnie to go to the Co-op. Countless times, she went down to the store and brought Minnie home, ashamed. The employees didn’t seem to mind, but Andrea was enraged that her cat was had to travel there every day. She attempted to confine the cat at home, but Minnie was hurt one day while attempting to escape via a window. Andrea gave up shortly after that, and Minnie now spends as much time at the Co-op as she does at home.
Minnie enjoys the attention she receives from the nice staff as well as the other guests. She enjoys being petted and purrs when she is. Minnie is quite popular with the staff. They also put up a notice telling customers not to feed Minnie and prepared her a little bed. Every day, she receives more sweets than she can handle.
It’s not as if no one notices the sign. Customers frequently give Minnie food, which she enjoys as well as attention. Minnie, you’ve done a fantastic job.
