Iker, a baby goat, had a difficult start in life until he met Cody, a rescued tabby cat who recognized that the small goat was wounded and in need of assistance. Cody offered to look after Iker and nurture him back to health.
Iker was rescued with a fractured leg by the Leon Vegano Animal Sanctuary, which collaborated with Mino Valley Farm Sanctuary to preserve the life of the young newborn goat. Iker required a lot of love and comfort in order to recover.
Cody is a wild cat with FHV who was born as a stray. He’s seen firsthand how to survive and is now attempting to teach Iker what he needs to know in order for him to heal as well.
