Roscoe the cat had been missing for two weeks, but fear not, there is a happy ending to this story.
After her lost cat Roscoe was discovered and rescued from a dried-up well, a woman was filled with pleasure and relief.
Two weeks after Roscoe vanished, neighbors heard weak meows coming from an Oceanside dry well and asked for assistance.
A group of about a dozen of them arrived on the scene. After they made sure the air in the well was safe, Danny Leboff, a young firefighter, climbed into the tiny well, and Roscoe was brought back above ground, eager to get out.
“The cat was definitely ready to go,” Fire Chief John Madden said.
When Roscoe’s owner saw her beloved tabby cat, she was overcome with excitement and gladness.
“She was visibly moved… Madden added, “She couldn’t believe it was her cat.” “I believe she’d given up hope of ever seeing him again.”
Emma Ryan stated, “She was just hysterical.” “When the cat came out, everyone was clapping and cheering.” It was a wonderful Mother’s Day. “Everyone adores cats.”
“It’s satisfying to return them to their owners,” Madden said.
About a dozen firefighters arrived to assist in the rescue of Roscoe the cat, who was taken to safety.
It was a tear-jerking reunion!
Roscoe was just as pleased to be out and about and back in his human’s arms.
