Welcome to Japan, where you’ll be traveling with two cats named Daikichi and Fuku-chan, as well as their owner. “Daikichi” and “Fuku-chan” signify “Lucky Boy” and “Happy Kid,” respectively. As kittens, Daikichi, a brown tabby, and Fuku-chan, a red tabby, were abandoned. They were both saved, thankfully.
Daikichi was discovered on an icy road near Hokkaido’s Akan Lake, while Fuku-chan was discovered in Shinjuku Gyoen National Park hidden on a piece of cardboard.
Their new owners like traveling and chose to bring their kitties along. This four-legged couple now travels around Japan on excursions.
Along the journey, the two have climbed mountains, visited historic beaches, and experienced a variety of different four-legged creatures. They’ve visited all throughout Japan, north and south, and never failed to record their recollections in flawlessly caught photographs.
Nyanko, an enthusiastic traveler and Natural Conservation Officer with the Japanese Ministry of the Environment, wanted to offer her new family members some experience.
As a result, the group set off on a journey throughout Japan and beyond. When they’re on the road, the two can unwind in Nyanko’s backpack.
