This shelter cat had been adopted twice and had to be returned both times.
The Atlanta Humane Society believes it’s because she’s too bashful in social situations. She likes to relax in the corner, but she can also be a love bug when she wants to be.
Christina Hill, director of marketing and communications for the Atlanta Humane Society (AHS), noted, “She prefers things on her own terms.”
“Sadie has a more independent personality, which isn’t unusual for a cat, but she’ll need someone who will give her the space she needs when she requests it.” After being returned twice Sadie hasn’t had anyone interested in adopting her for nearly 14 months.
“She would prefer to be the only pet in the house, which makes finding her a home a little more challenging,” Hill explained.
Sadie, on the other hand, adores people and will come up to you and demand that you love her!
She also enjoys having her hair stroked and being kissed on the head.
Hill added, “Our staff adores her.” “She’s been patiently waiting for someone to love her and provide her with a loving home.”
