This family had a trained and tamed coyote as a pet. They also rescued a cat and were delighted to discover that the two got along swimmingly. Despite their differences in stature, they played and wrestled around the room.
It’s remarkable how in tune they are with one another. The cat collapses, and the coyote assumes the same posture. It’s almost as though they’re imitating one another.
Additionally, the coyote allows the cat to attack him, and then, when the cat attacks in a fun manner, the coyote comes to a halt and offers the cat a chance. This is uncommon even when cats play together, much less when a domesticated dog and cat are involved. It’s uncommon to witness such a duo having such a relationship.
