The “Maine Coon” is a breed of domestic cat that is distinguished by its size and look when compared to other domestic felines. In North America, they are considered to be one of the earliest natural breeds, having been developed by cross-breeding between cats and raccoons.
With its moniker “the gentle giant,” Maine coons are known for being friendly and outgoing despite their great size. When fully grown, they may weigh up to 8.2 kg and develop to a body length of 120 cm, making them almost as large as a tiger cub in terms of size. However, before they reach that size, you will be able to witness their adorable kittens, who are simply waiting to grow up and become giants.
