Isn’t love wonderful? Some humans or animals have unbreakable bonds with one another. Some couples can never be parted, no matter what life has in store for them. That’s the story of a duo of kittens discovered on the side of the road, most likely discarded by an immoral person. They would not have lived if it hadn’t been for the humans who discovered them.
The kittens were just a day old when they were discovered. They were bound together from the start. They meowed and were clearly in need of assistance, which they received due to a wonderful Samaritan.
The kittens were brought to the Sparkle Cat Rescue facility in North Carolina in poor condition. They need round-the-clock care and were placed with Sarah Kelly, their new foster mother. For weeks, she fed them every two hours and monitored their growth. They were placed in an incubator with a cuddle toy and immediately fell asleep.
This kittens were little, but they had a tremendous drive to survive. From the start, they were inseparable — wherever one of them went, the other followed. They were given the names Soleil and Luna, which means “sun” and “moon,” respectively. Soleil was fiercely protective of her sister, and the two got along swimmingly.
Luna received all of her younger sister’s support and encouragement throughout her rehabilitation. She kept a constant eye on her and hastened to find her after each meal. One of the reasons they pushed through like champions was because they were always within one other’s sight.
Even though the two sisters are just a few months apart in age, they nevertheless have an unshakable kinship. They were adopted together and now live happily ever after in their new home, receiving the happy ending they so wQell deserved.
