Recently, a homeowner in North Carolina discovered four tabbies that had been left outside near her house. She couldn’t bring herself to abandon them in that manner. Instead, she collected them in a box and transported them home, where she contacted a local cat charity, Sparkle Cat Rescue, for assistance.
It was really cold outdoors, and they wanted to be well warmed up before continuing. Sarah Kelly, a volunteer at the shelter, recalls the events of that night with great detail. She claims that they were really chilly to the touch, and that the personnel worked extremely hard to keep them warm overnight.
Fortunately, their temperature returned to normal rather quickly. However, there were now additional health issues to deal with as a result of the accident.
Howie, Vee, and Mac were three energetic kittens that like to play. They spent their days roaming about the center and interacting with one another, as well as with adults. They also enjoyed spending time with their new toy, a large stuffed monkey, and cuddling with him.
One of the kittens didn’t make it to the next day. When the remainder of the litter struggled for their lives it took days before they were able to slumber comfortably. The three orphaned kittens were growing in strength with each passing day. They began to come out of their shells one by one as time went on. The crew was impressed with what they were witnessing, and it was evident that they were planning to place the animals for adoption as soon as possible.

It wasn’t long before their personalities began to emerge when they had medical clearance. All three of them were excellent mischief-makers, and the rest of the employees enjoyed their antics.
A few weeks before to their arrival, a cat called Bo was discovered wandering the streets without his mother. His fear made him need a great deal of attention, and it was only with the assistance of Sarah Kelly that he survived. As soon as Bo was out of the woods, she decided it would be a good idea to introduce him to the three orphans she had encountered. It was not just a decent concept, but a fantastic one.
Bo and the three kittens got the party started in grand style. Their acceptance of him as a member of the family was shown by his inclusion in all of their sleep parties. Bo also learned to socialize as a result of his interactions with the other kittens. The kittens were inseparable and were adopted in pairs because of their close bond. Mac and Vee were adopted into a wonderful and caring home, while Bo and Howie, now known as Catsidhe, captured the hearts of a family who already had a devoted dog.
We’re happy that they all found their new forever homes.
