Locals in Nakhon Nayok are familiar with the elephant in this photograph. Pai Salick is a 35-year-old male elephant that goes by the name Pai Salick. Locals recognize him since he frequents their gardens in quest of food.
This elephant lives in a neighboring jungle, but he frequents this area at night. When he broke into people’s homes, he created quite a bit of havoc.
That night, though, this elephant selected the incorrect residence. He may never suspect that the home owner has a particular protection in the form of a 3-year-old tabby cat.
Simba is the name of the cat, and he is as bold as his name suggests. The moment the small little cat scared away the big elephant as it was strolling about the yard is captured in this remarkable snapshot.
The home owner said that his cat has a strong sense of territoriality, which means he might be hostile against unwelcomed visitors. This tabby cat, who had no fear of the enormous trespasser, even defeated an elephant that attempted to destroy its garden. Walking approaching the intruder, the cat seems to be at ease.
This time, the jumbo has met its equal. The elephant fled to the jungle, terrified of the ferocious feline.
Elephants are legally protected in Thailand. Actions that harm them may result in a maximum punishment of three years in jail. This is understandable, given that elephants were declared endangered in Thailand in 1986, and their numbers have since plummeted. They are, on the other hand, the country’s national animal and a cultural emblem.
