This is the story of Zeus, a cat, and Sam, a dog, who live together at Catanzarite’s home. The relationship between Zeus and Sam is that of best friends living under the same roof. Zeus tried to snuggle and play with Sam all the time, but he was always indifferent.
While cats are known for their amusing ways of expressing affection, the dog demonstrated his love via tolerance.
Sam, sadly, died two months ago, breaking the cat’s heart. Sam may have gone, but Zeus was able to reconnect with him, proving that the cat’s best friend had never left his thoughts. Catanzarite’s brother had put the dog’s old collar on a bookshelf in his room after he died.
Zeus came upon it one day, recognized the familiar aroma on the collar, and it transported him back to a period when the cat and the dog were great friends. The owner surrounds the cat with love, although she can’t replace the fellow dog.
