Kristian Svenson of Lakewood, Colorado, discovered his pet tabby sneaking about the house and opening doors. Mulder, an intelligent tuxedo tabby kitten, supposedly enjoys waking up his owner by hanging off the doorknob and opening doors like a human.
Svenson couldn’t take his cat’s pranks any longer, so he devised a strategy to stop kitty Mulder. In front of a locked door, he placed a homemade water trap. This, however, was insufficient to stop Mulder. The small cat simply leaped over the water trap and onto the doorknob, opened it, and walked inside peacefully.
Sven is no longer safe from his cat because the perceptive feline has worked out how to open doors.
