A kitten, later named June, was spotted by a good citizen in Cape Town, South Africa, late last year and given to the Domestic Animal Rescue Group.
The poor kitty was sick and blind, but it didn’t seem to bother her.

“She was brought in… by a member of the community who had found her, and I believe her mother had been murdered,”
Holly Gilbert-Jones, a DARG volunteer who gladly accepted the duty of fostering June, told The Dodo. “I didn’t have any brothers or sisters.”

June, despite her blindness, does not believe she is any different from the other cats. She enjoys running up and down the house’s length.
June is not only a bundle of activities, but she also yearns for love from everyone she meets.

June was ready to be adopted after several months with her foster mom Holly, and she was looking for a forever home and a compassionate owner who would love her.
June’s story was shared on DARG’s Facebook page in the hopes that the sweet feline would find the perfect family.

A couple of people June’s messages grabbed Andrew Duff and Rebecca Warner’s attention, and they agreed to adopt her without even meeting her.
When they arrived to pick her up, she instantly cuddled up and snuggled towards her new father.

On the way home, June even climbed into Duff’s arms and gave him a nice cuddle.

Warner told The Dodo, “She just curled onto his neck and stayed there.”
“I got a small tag that read ‘Daddy’s Girl’ on the way home because I thought, ‘Well, that’s it.’ ‘That’ hers,’ she says.
