Because he and Minnie the cat have been inseparable since they met, Evin should have changed his name to Mickey.
“Jesse, my partner, is a dairy farmer. Jesse fell in love with Evin, the loveliest farm cat he’d ever met. For Christmas in 2014, he brought him home for me.
“Then we came across Minnie’s litter and couldn’t pass him up since he was a miniature replica of Evin!” Since then, we’ve been working hard to capture the barn cats and have them fixed. As a result, there are no more litters.”
Evin was instantly attracted to Minnie as he moved into his new house. Minnie formed a strong attachment to Evin. He wouldn’t go out without him.
The ginger kitten was utterly enamored with him. Everywhere he went, he followed his tiny twin. Evin scrubbed him down and showered him with affection. Evin needed some solitude from time to time, but Minnie refused to give it to him.
He wanted to be near Evin at all times.
“It doesn’t matter to him whether there’s place for him or not.”
“Evin is a really laid-back and affectionate cat. Minnie is a nut who is always jacked up and rushing around the house like crazy. Before we go to bed, we have to play hard with him! Fighting is something they like doing.”
“They’re practically next to each other all day, every day. Minnie has learned from Evin that when the humans are packing for a vacation, she should climb inside the luggage and force them to remain.”
When they see their mother driving into the driveway, they stand at the window. Evin assists Minnie in figuring out how to use this kitty mat. “They’re fantastic. My life’s tiny joys!”
