Hayden Winter hoped on going straight to bed after eating supper when he returned home late Tuesday night from work. When he entered his room, however, he saw a cat sleeping on his bed. Fezgin, a local cat that lives comfortably on the streets of Winter’s Istanbul neighborhood, was one happy cat.
Winter told in an interview, “Istanbul is really a metropolis of cats and dogs. It’s fantastic – people just feed them and they become a part of the community.”
Fezgin was curled up on Winter’s bed, eyeing him down like an invader. Winter examined his window and saw that she had broken into his flat by climbing through the window.
This wasn’t the first time Fezgin had snuck into his house, but she had never done so by jumping into his bed until now. Winter was thus taken aback when she chose to make herself comfortable in his bedroom this time around.
The other day, she was being a bit naughty,” Winter added.
“She’s constantly having a good time with herself.”
Winter snapped some images of the cat and posted them on Catspotting, a private Facebook page, where the cat and her photos went viral and got a lot of attention. Winter is a photographer by profession.
