The feline species, like so many other creatures on the planet, deserves to be cherished and safeguarded, just as much as any other. The way humans handle this species, on the other hand, continues to raise a number of contentious concerns. A kitten was recently discovered in a junkyard, “covered in grime, underweight, and plagued with fleas”. The former stray also suffered from a burst abscess on his right eye, which had to be removed by a team from the animal welfare organization Blue Cross, which was called in to help.

He was given the nickname Osho by the crew because his raccoon-like tail reminded them of the character from Studio Ghibli’s Pom Poko anime, which is about two Japanese raccoon canines that change. Even though it took several weeks for Osho to recuperate, the kitten is finally on his way to a new pasture, where he will be available for adoption just in time for the holiday season. He narrated the events that transpired after he discovered the cat. Because of what they observed, they viewed the cat as very pathetic.

Carys Curwood works as an assistant animal welfare officer at the Newport division of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. ” We cleaned him and treated his eye, and we had to wait a few weeks before he was healthy enough to have it removed,” he said. “This cat is a courageous little creature who is still going strong despite his experience,” says the veterinarian. With time, he has attained his optimal weight for his age, he has developed an insatiable hunger, and he spends his days playing with toys.”

“He’s so adorable,” she said. I’m not surprised that we were able to locate him a new home in such a short period of time.” In his new home, we wish him a joyful holiday season. With a new home, a new look, new pals, and a new better owner, the greatest Christmas gift for a cat is certainly the one that keeps on giving. All that it has suffered and battled through in the past has now been repaid. The hope is that from this point on, it will be enjoying a happy life.
