A photographer going by the moniker Triangle EIGHT has taken images of stray cats in order to raise awareness about the need of rescuing them. She thinks that by sharing these photographs, these sad kitties would be able to find a permanent home more quickly and easily.

For a while, she contemplated contacting an animal shelter to offer her assistance, but she was apprehensive about being turned down since she lacked sufficient photographic experience. As a result, she went on to study photography and came back to her original concept.

She happened to come across the Cat Care Community’s website one day and decided to send them a note. She has been delighted to learn that she has been approved as a photographer for the Cat Care Community.

“The need to create photographs that captured the originality and distinctiveness of each cat was prominent in my mind.  I tried to create a homey environment in these photographs so that people might visualize that particular cat in their own home,” she said.

“Because most animal shelters display photos of animals who appear afraid or violent, I reasoned that it would be more successful.   This animal, in my opinion, has less prospects of finding a home,” she added emphatically.

Cat Care Community is a cat-protection group that was created to allow people to communicate their feelings, thoughts, and beliefs regarding cats. We can all work together to make the world a little bit better!
