Cheryl has a particular neighbor who pays her many visits on a daily basis. The next-door neighbor is a Siamese cat that is 17 years old. When Cheryl stepped outside and came face to face with the cat, she would give her some affection. The senior cat gradually became smitten with the lady and began to express his appreciation for her. As soon as she spotted her favorite lady, she would turn over in the street so that she could have her stomach stroked.
Immediately after Cheryl was placed on lockdown, the cat began to pay her visits on and off. She would scream and beg Cheryl to let her in from the outside. Cheryl gave her the nickname Squishy because she is so squishy and cuddly to the touch. The cat would spend the whole day with her family and would accompany her wherever she went.
Cheryl had a special auntie whom she adored. Unfortunately, she grew sick and died. Cheryl was having a hard time getting over the loss, but Squish simply got more cuddly all of a sudden.
Squish never leaves her side after her aunt passed away. She comes to their house every day. The cat approaches her and rubs up against her, giving her hugs. Cheryl senses her auntie’s presence.
“I don’t know how to express it,” Cheryl said, “but it’s overwhelming what she gives me.”
Cheryl, in particular, deserves special gratitude for sharing her story with us.
