He is a 12-year-old boy who is fully deaf. Every day, this exceptionally devoted cat expresses his gratitude to his lifelong people by appreciating every time he spends with them!
Meet Corporal Nobby Nobbs!
Nobbs had been mistreated and deprived of affection in a garage in Texas before he was rescued.
He was rough around the edges at 12 years old, yet all he wanted was to be loved.
When Nobbs was discovered by Karyn Poplin of the Kitty Adventure Rescue League and Sanctuary, he became instantly connected to her, clambered up her legs for hugs, and clung to her for dear life.
“We’ve been inseparable from the first time I met him.” He loves me and my husband (Gerald), and he tells us everything,” Karyn said.
The pair has rescued plenty of special needs, handicapped, aged, and otherwise unadoptable felines from the DFW TX region, but Nobbs is unlike any other cat they’ve ever encountered.
He’s so connected to his people that he can’t leave the room without screaming out to them for affection.
“He yells because he can’t control his voice. He spends the whole day making air biscuits. “He sleeps in our arms, beneath the blankets,” Karyn said.
“He’s the most loving elderly guy I’ve ever met.”
Nobbs is pouring his heart out every day for love after years of living alone in isolation. When he receives a hug, he is overjoyed and reciprocates with unending head snuggles.
