Dasha has chosen to share some of her favorite things with us. For a long time, she and her family debated whether it was worthwhile to adopt a cat from the street. Eventually, they decided it was. However, one day the young lady came upon a little red ball of fur and understood that she had nothing to worry about.
As a result, a cat named Ogonyok (fire/lights in Russian) emerged in Daria’s household, and the family adopted him. At first, the pet was terrified of his new surroundings, and he refused to leave his box-crib, which his owners had built for him just for this purpose. He only came out when he needed to be fed or to get to his tray, which was seldom.
After a time, the cat became used to his new surroundings, and the whole family became smitten with him.
Ogonyok has shown to be a highly devoted and friendly cat who is unable to function without his owners. Bathing and nail trimming are not a problem for him.
Dasha has the impression that the cat knows what they say from time to time. She used to believe that clever creatures like these could only be seen in movies.
Daria’s family couldn’t seem to stop at just one pet, and they soon came across another stray cat that they adored as well. Murchik was the moniker given to him. He is taken care of by Ogonyok, who feels himself to be the biological father of the baby kitten.
Consequently, rescuing an animal from the street is not at all frightening, since the animal will repay you with dedication and affection.
