When a Canadian lady saw a wild lynx outside her store in Terrance Bay, Ontario, she recorded the event and shared it on Facebook, where it received mixed reactions. “There’s simply a lynx hanging around uptown,” Beth-Ann Colebourne remarked.
Beth-Ann, who has earned the nickname “crazy cat woman whisperer,” claimed she never felt scared by the lynx and always gave it enough room to go. However, she continued to address the lynx as if it were a regular cat, saying things like “Kitten, kitty, kitty” and “What’s up a friend, what are you doing?” which prompted a flood of internet comments doubting her sanity.
Despite her kindness, the wild lynx rapidly wanders away, disinterested in establishing a new buddy. She knows why people have questioned her sanity, but she is unconcerned about her new moniker.
