When a nine-year-old girl returned home and saw a little black cat, she was completely taken aback. The kitten resembled a miniature replica of her dearest buddy, who died a year before.
When Marley was nine years old, her mother, Nikki Frost, brought home something she had longed for since losing her closest friend, Simon the black cat.
“Marley has a strong affinity towards animals. We already have two dogs, two cats, and a guinea pig in our household, so she’s constantly throwing her change in the donation cans at the pet supply shop “Frost revealed this in an interview.
“Simon, our senior black cat, had died the year before, and she’d been begging for a kitten ever since.”
With two cats already, the family had no intention of getting another until Ella the kitten arrived. She broke into tears – joyous tears!
“Ella was discovered with a sibling beneath a friend’s porch, their mother thought to have been murdered on the road,” Frost said.
They were bottle-fed, and Frost happened to meet her on the day they were available for adoption. “I had no idea of bringing another cat home, but… certain things are simply meant to be.”
She took Ella home and put her in Marley’s room as she awaited her daughter’s return. “Marley had NO IDEA, she’d just returned from a friend’s place, and the rest is history!”
