What should you do if you have a cat that is extraordinarily photogenic? You and your friend go to a professional photographer to pose for a picture, of course. In preparation for Mother’s Day, a 21-year-old man brought his 1.5-year-old Russian Blue mix, Charlie, to a professional photo session with the intention of printing one of the photos on canvas and giving it to his mother as a present. Normally, cats are averse to having their pictures taken, but Charlie was a model for us. He would stick close to his human and pose as if he were an adolescent model for the camera. They seem to have a close bond: “(The photographs) ended up looking more like engagement shots,” one of the men playfully said after the shoot. The photographs are just beautiful! Their mother is going to have a lovely Mother’s Day celebration.

Because Charlie didn’t seem to be bothered by the photoshoot.
The photogenic kitty seems to be a natural model.
