Let us introduce you to Alla Lebedeva, the “queen of all the cat ladies,” who claims to have a farm in Siberia where she keeps “a million, maybe more” Siberian cats.
After being overwhelmed by the wonderful hairy cats, the farm operated by Lebedeva and her husband was forced to become an uninvited cat refuge, which they called ‘Catland.’
It all began in 2004 when the couple’s ‘lion’ cat, Babushka, gave birth to five adorable ginger kittens, which marked the beginning of their adventure.
The farm is now overrun with furry animals, but the cats and the chickens and bunnies have a mutually beneficial relationship in which the cats “defend the chickens and rabbits from rodents and mice.”
They’ve had too many to count for over a decade, and they’re still trying to raise them all!
“How many of us are there now?” “I normally respond with ‘a million, maybe more,'” Lebedeva tells in an interview.
“They reside in a henhouse…” she says. They have three small bedrooms’ where they may sleep whenever they choose.”
Lebedeva often posts photos of the kitties on social media, and they have subsequently gone viral.
People on the internet often confuse Siberian cats with Norwegian Forest cats, despite the fact that they are quite different.
