An adorable cat was devoted to her owner to the point that she couldn’t stand to be apart from her. Although it has been a year since this cat’s owner passed away, the feline has not yet walked away from her old mom’s tomb. Keli Keningau Prayitno, a 28-year-old passerby, attempted to adopt the cat, but the attempt failed — the cat returned to her owner’s grave the next day, nuzzling the little blue tombstone.
The cat, in a remarkable feat, goes every day to her previous house, where she is fed by the old lady’s children, and then walks back to the cemetery. Despite the fact that it has been provided with food and drink by passing motorists, the cat will not leave the cemetery, preferring instead to roll in the dirt and sleep at the grave every night.
“The fact that she sleeps there and meows demonstrates how attached animals are to their people.” Keli shared her thoughts. And who says cats don’t have sentiments for the people who care for them?
