For the last four years, a stray calico cat, now known as the SWAT cat, has made regular visits to the Boston Police Department. But one day she appeared and stayed for the rest of her life. The SWAT name was given to her by the police….
According to a police station spokeswoman, “we have used different approaches over the years in an attempt to get her to come in from the elements, but she is set in her ways.” Even though their efforts were in vain, they didn’t give up hope and began construction on a charming small house for their new master.
Officials with the Boston Police Department said officer Jamie Pietroski, a 15-year veteran of the force, went late after work for many nights to carefully prepare Swat Cat’s new home. A roomy studio interior layout, a huge deck for outdoor dining, and glass sliding doors with magnificent city views are all included in the price of the unit. In addition, they said that the Swat Cat was quick to settle in and seemed to be enjoying her new personalized cat home.
