“I apologize for my cat’s tail,” says a member of the Scottish parliament after his cat photobombs a zoom meeting…

Zoom meetings are extremely entertaining, and if there is one aspect of them that we really like, it is the hilarious interruptions that occur from time to time. A Scottish member of parliament went viral when his cat Rojo photobombed a virtual meeting in which he was participating.

When John Nicolson, a member of the Scottish Parliament for Ochil and South Perthshire, was talking about the benefits of placing subtitles on children’s television, his speech was abruptly cut short by the tail of his cat waving across the tv screen.

In front of the camera, Rojo calmly stepped in front of it, prompting the congressman to apologize to his colleagues for his cat’s tail. The other members of the meeting began to laugh, while John Nicolson struggled to maintain his cool when his cat stole the show during the presentation.

The laughs continued as Rojo seemed to be serious about not stepping out of the lens of the camera. In an effort to keep his ginger four-legged companion entertained, John begged him to “put your tail down, please.” His colleagues laughed even more as he instructed his ginger four-legged friend.

After a time, Rojo let the humans continue their virtual meeting of the Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport Committee, while the video of the meeting went viral almost immediately after it was posted.
