Let’s meet Max Lynx, the educational animal ambassador who takes a break from eating to scratch his back before sitting down to eat. Max was born at a zoo in May of 2011 and has been there ever since. He’s not entirely domesticated, but he’s also not completely wild. His objective is to educate the public about the critically endangered Canada Lynx in the hopes that people would be motivated to maintain their environment and safeguard animals as a result of his efforts.
According to his caregivers, he is NOT declawed: “During the winter, he weighs 40 pounds, and during the summer, he weighs around 34 pounds.” In this video, he has almost 4 inches of fur, which gives him the appearance of being fat…I mean fluffy! This video was not filmed at our home. Max’s living quarters include both indoor and outdoor spaces.”
