A man is taken aback when his dead cat returns home alive after a heartbreaking funeral…

Approximately three years ago, a man named Nathan Sonoras adopted a black cat named Loki, and the two instantly became the best of friends with each other. Loki the cat began his life as a stray, but one day while prowling the streets, he came into the man’s life and stayed with him. “He’s the loveliest little thing,” Nathan said in an interview . He enjoys jumping on my lap and cuddling with me, and he is quite affectionate.”

Loki is an outdoor cat who enjoys taking self-guided walks around the neighborhood and adjacent places. Therefore, Nathan allowed him to go around because he was always aware of his ability to successfully return once he had completed his daily wandering. Loki had a tragic end, and Nathan was certain that he would never see his buddy again after this experience.

It was around 5 p.m. On Monday, April 15, Nathan got home from work and noticed something dark in the area of his household. He came to a halt and approached the unmoving object in the middle of the road; it was a black cat laying still. He realized it was Loki because of his markings, and he realized that he had been struck by a car.

“I was driving when I noticed this dark object in the road ahead of me. At first, I thought it was some sort of sweatshirt or something. “However, as I went closer, I realized it was a black cat,” he explained. “My worst fear about having an outdoor cat had been realized all at once.”

When an automobile struck and murdered Nathan Sonoras’s black cat, he was in a state of shock. In the meantime, he summoned his girlfriend to the scene, and together they moved the cat’s body to a peaceful section of his yard where they could lay him to rest. They then arranged a small memorial service to honor Loki’s memory.

“I was in a state of extreme sadness. “I was crying and shouting things like, ‘My cat is dead, and I can’t believe it,'” Sonoras recounted. “It was a very traumatic experience.”

The reality was that he had no idea what was going to happen next, and those final goodbyes were a little premature. The following morning, Loki appeared to be returning home after taking a leisurely stroll through the park. He was taken aback when his cat appeared hours later and greeted him. Loki was still alive and well.

I took a step back. I was completely taken aback by the entire situation. ‘What the hell is going on?’ I questioned of my father. “I just buried the cat last night,”  he added. Sonoras shared his thoughts. “My father was taken aback as well. Loki is, in some way, still alive.”

“I just embraced him and bawled my eyes out like a baby,” Sonoras recalled of the experience. “Did I wake up in a parallel universe where Loki hadn’t been killed?” I wondered. “Did I wish him back to life?”

At that point, Sonoras knew that the dead cat was not one of his own. He intends to get the word out so that the cat’s family is made aware of the situation. Loki has returned to his home, and Sonaras is considering whether he should continue to allow his cat such extensive outdoor freedom in light of the traumatic experience he has had.
