However, every now and then, they will shower you with purrs and affection. And, of course, their actions and behaviors never cease to astound and amaze us. Despite the fact that they are well-known for being mischievous, aloof, and selfish, we still adore them and provide them with the best of what we have.
Recently, an 8-year-old tabby named Gambino Bambino has discovered a new way to delight his humans by surprising them with his antics. Fortunately, Tawny, his owner, was there to capture the priceless moment on video and share it with the world on social media. The moment Tawny started filming her cats, Gambino dashed across the room and into a corner, disappearing. It took her only a few seconds to catch up with him as she dashed after him. Gambino raised his head and meowed a “Well, Hi!” with a Southern drawl. Following that, he proceeded to groom himself in a casual manner.
Tawny felt Gambino’s Southern-style greeting was amusing, so she shared it on her Facebook page. She then published the video on Tik Tok, where it has received over 1.4 million likes and 10.4 thousand comments.
He’s a chatty cat, but only makes noises that sound like “mom” or “well hi,” according to Tawny. “He talks a lot,” she explained, despite the fact that he doesn’t speak to the other cat, Tom Petty. They don’t talk to each other, only to my husband and me.”
Tawny said that both Gambino and Tom Petty are rescues and that neither is from the South unless you define Southern California as a Southern state. This is why she was taken aback when her cat began speaking in the manner of a Southern gentleman.
