Say hi to the Pet Republic’s senior cat citizens who are basking in the splendor of old age…

“You’re just as old as you feel,” goes the common saying. That is certainly true for the Pet Republic’s senior citizens. They may be old in dog or cat years, but they still have a lot of zest for life!

Elderly animals have the benefit of time and experience; they have seen it all and survived. While being optimistic about aging isn’t always easy, these seniors are living evidence that it can be done.

Here’s a collection of wonderful elderly cats that are still capturing hearts in their senior years.

#1. My 20-year-old certainly got 10 Hufflepuff points!

#2. On December 7th, Bandit celebrated his 25th birthday!

#3. She’s been with me for 22 years and hasn’t let up.

#4. It’s been 22 years and counting.

#5. My cat, who is 22 years old, noticed that I was eating Doritos.

#6. Mystic, my 15-year-old cat, is doing her adorable blep again.

#7. We adopted this lovely 15-year-old girl today. Her previous owners were unable to care for her. She’s now settled into her new permanent home!

#8.  My cat is 22!

#9.  Most of our friends are unaware that we have a cat. We don’t see him often either since he prefers to hide under the bed. He was bold enough to come out for petting today, while I was at work. Elwood is my 15-year-old cat.

#10. I promised to foster Tuna 18 years ago. My closest buddy, who is now 20, is still going strong.

#11. Niko, 22.

#12. Lily, 15.

#13. Is a 15-year-old girl. 6 pound weight. Accepts zero shit.
