It is truly magical when a child has finally discovered his spirit animal.
Madden, a 7-year-old Oklahoma boy, was born with a cleft lip and heterochromia iridum (different color eyes).
Some children at his school have made fun of him because of his unusual appearance, but it appears that he has found a method to deal with them thanks to his new friend.
“Last week, a friend in our cleft parents group sent a photo of the cat. In the interview, Madden’s mother, Christina Humphreys, said, “This kitty was taken in by a rescue organization in Minnesota.”
Madden’s mother stated, “I’m surprised at how this all turned out.” “It may sound ridiculous, but fate brought these two together.”
“We felt this kitty was destined to be a part of our family the moment we saw him.
“Not only does he have a cleft lip, but he also has complete heterochromia iridum, just like our 7-year-old son Madden. It was written in the stars that they would be best friends. It’s strange how having a pet can make you feel less lonely.”
“When a section of the iris contains at least two hues, it is known as heterochromia iridum. Complete heterochromia iridum, in which both eyes are completely different colors, is extremely unusual, affecting less than 1% of the population, according to our sources. This, combined with cleft lips, is quite rare.”
“I’m shocked we found out about [the cat], and even more amazed by the friends and strangers who assisted us in finding him and adopting him.”
“We don’t typically do things on the spur of the moment, but we sensed we were supposed to love this cat. Moon, the cat, and Madden are the ideal companions for one another.
“We will choose to follow love in a world full of pain and hurtful remarks. I believe it is reasonable to say that this kitty represents love and that she was destined to be a part of our and Madden’s journeys.”
